Sterling Silver Ring with Garnet and Crescent Moon

A stunning rosecut Mozambique Garnet set in Sterling Silver with a magical crescent moon on a wrap-around, lightly textured sterling silver ring band that is approx. 6mm wide.

☾ SIZE:  The ring band will be adjusted before leaving my studio to your size - - U.S. size 5.5 up to a size 8 - - will NOT have a gap in the band. Because it's a wrap-around-band, there is a greater chance that it is your size. :-)

☾ Truly handcrafted of solid .925 Sterling Silver by me from start to finish, once piece at a time, using traditional metalsmithing techniques & quality materials.

☾ The facets of this gorgeous, high dome, rosecut Mozambique garnet ( 3.45 carats ) take its color through the full range of dark, mysterious red to bright red, depending on the lighting.  (Responsibly-sourced garnet)

☾ Garnet is the January birthstone and symbolizes love and friendship. Garnet is also thought to protect its wearer, and in Medieval times, it was thought that dragons had eyes of garnets. Crescent moons represent womanhood in ancient symbolism, perfect for the mystic, goth, or warrior goddess .

☾ FINISH:  The Sterling silver is oxidized to resemble antique/old silver, complementing the ancient, mystical feeling of this ring. The oxidation has been relieved on the crescent and balls, with the dark of the moon remaining.

MEASUREMENTS: Band is approximately 6mm wide. Setting is approx. 20mm tall x 13.5mm wide.
